The items picture is a little misleading. It is smaller than it looks. My pearing knife is this size.
For $22 bucks I did not expect a great knife, but what I got was so much worse. Half tang which loosened after cutting 2 cucumbers and a tomato!!! Metal is thin, cheap(can't bring myself to call it a blade) dull with nicks. Sheath is decent but that's it I have a 30yo paring knife that is so much better and just fits the sheath. Sad example of OKC.
Old Hickory makes the best knives in the world when you figure the cost vs. the utility and durability. This knife is just perfect as a bird and trout knife, as well as a light-duty everyday-carry fixed blade knife. If you want a slightly heavier-duty knife, the Old Hickory 3.25" paring knife is just that, and fits perfectly in the same sheath as the Bird & Trout.
You don’t know it’s there if you wear it on your belt. A very nice, controllable, comfortable, camp knife. The blade seems small but it is up to most tasks and sometimes bigger ones!
I really enjoy using this little knife!
Disappointingly small, was not sharp, much smaller than thought.
