Built to be versatile and durable, the RAT® series features either 1075 carbon steel, tough micarta handles and MOLLE compatible sheathes. The RAT's make ideal fixed blade "every day carry" (EDC) or for on the work site, campground or down range.
Received the blade for my birthday a few months ago as a replacement for an Ozark trail knife that was on its last legs. I'm an avid bushcrafter and camper. So far the blade has been perfect. The knife holds an edge and stands up to abuse my only nitpick is that it needed a lanyard, but it has one now.
I have many K-Bar knifes and really like this full tang knife
Bad quality control. The grind angle was un even on side look around 15º and the other around 25-30º The handle scales are to blocky and uncomfortable.
I bought this knife thinking that it was going to be good usa quality. When I got it home and out of the packaging, a quick look at the blade i found the edge was ground off center. I fixed it on my sharpening stone but it took some hours. Next the handle was loose. Don't seem to want to tighten all the way. I guess I bought a project knife.
Worst knife I've ever bought for my collection, crooked blade with a big deviation on the right.
