4 1/2 stars

Pros: Received packaged on ETA.
All parts of the OKC 3S was securely in place, No loose blade.
Cons: Scratch marks on holder and handle.
Yellow stains on the blade (easy fix, apply 2 layers of mineral oil).
The point: Don't worry the cosmetic imperfections do not affect the use of the Bayonet. Great OKC 3S overall.

Outstanding

I purchased this knife because, why have a bayonet lug on your AR if you have no bayonet? The only critique I have is that the retention spring (I don’t know if that is actually what it is called?) that holds the blade securely in the sheath has no protective coating on it, so the first time you put the knife in the sheath it immediately scratches the black coating on the blade all to hell. It seems like a very easy/cheap fix, just coat the spring in some type of plastic or something? It’s not just a cosmetic problem, I imagine over time I will have to take extra precautions to prevent rust in those scratched/exposed areas?

Worthy of the USMC stamp!

I've owned this OKC 3S for several years now and use it as my primary utility, hunting, camping, and hiking knife and it stays my truck always. I've put this knife through some incredible use over the years and it has never failed me. The blade is incredibly strong and it holds a sharp edge very very well. I would recommend this tool to anyone...and it is very worthy of carrying the USMC stamp on the blade. Semper Fi!
