Functions great. Only downside was I contacted customer service prior to purchase in regards to hopefully purchasing a Shikra with a centered blade (since the pivot screw is free-spinning and difficult to adjust). I opted to purchase directly from OKC instead of an online knife dealer for that specific reason.
The only response I received from Lisa stating "All of our knives are inspected by QA before they leave our facility..."
If there is a chance there are Shikras that have centered blades, I will be happy to purchase another in the future, as I gave my off-centered one away since I could not remedy the issue on my own.
Other than that, the knife opens and closes a lot better than the Besra.
Not a bad little knife for the price. Steel is good and the Micarta Scales feel nice. The weight is nice in the hand.
Sturdy and came very sharp. Would recommend.
This is a great little knife. Micarta on one side and a titanium frame lock on the other. A deep carry picket clip. The Aus8 stainless helps them keep the price low and honesty it's an easy steel to sharpen. For the price, yes. Buy it. We did little unboxing video here: https://youtu.be/fS60UNwm3-I
I got this on sale before the New Year for $29.95. Not bad for Titanium and Micarta. I am disappointed with the action when i first got it and the blade wasn't locking up. After a lot of grease and forcing the lock close and a lot of break in time, the knife is working good. I also added jimping on the flipper tab and that really helped the experience a lot. Seems like the more the knife breaks in, the closer to center the blade is getting. It was almost touching one side when I first got it. The worst part of this knife is that the pivot cannot be removed due to the Micarta side is smooth and you can't put a driver in there. It just spins with nothing to hold on to the opposite side.
